Laptop fell off bed and isn't launching !

Two days ago my dell Inspiron 15 3521 laptop (windows 8) fell off my bed with the power button side hitting the floor. When I tried to log back in all I got was a black screen as soon as I logged. Any ideas on what's wrong with it and or how I should fix it?

You might have a dead hard drive. The only way to fix that is to replace the hard drive.

You can check to see if it dead by connecting it to another computer and see if the computer recognizes the drive.

A dropped laptop not working anymore could be any of a dozen reasons.

Hard drive is hosed
LCD cable is broken/disconnected
Motherboard is cracked
Something else is loose/disconnected
and on and on....

Hi, what you can try is to go in the BIOS, you will know if the screen is alright and nothing else is defective.
