Hi,

I'll buy a laptop for max. 850$ from the USA.But i've some difficulties to make the good decision.

-I'll watch HD movies
-I'm not plannig to play games
-The battery life most at least 3 hours.
-The weight could be about 6lbs.
-I'll use it for min. 3 years.
-The sound quality is not so much important.
-LCD ecran's quality is important.Because i'm going to watch a lot of movies.
-I actually use it at home and take it with me for the holidays.
-The WiFi capability must be more than enough.
-120+ of HDD is prefered.
-It will be good if the laptop has an HDMI port.

I found 4 laptops listed below:

Acer Aspire AS5720-6661

Toshiba Satellite A205-S5853

Toshiba Qosmio F45-AV413

Toshiba A305-S6825

What do you think about those laptops?Do you have other ideas?

The fact that it's a refurb and it's CPU is only 1.66ghz compare to the two Satellites, says otherwise IMO. I think the A305 is the best choice out of the group; 1.83ghz CPU, large and faster HDD and 3gb of RAM.

You can configure a Dell Inspiron 1525 off the Home/Home Office site with a 2ghz CPU for about $800. The Same goes for the HP DV6500t. It just depends on how mainstream you want to stay.

I've got some doubts on Dell's LCD screen quality. What do you thnik about it?And also i could not find any information about the battery life of 1525 series.
