Laptop for gaming and video editing, budget is 2,500$

Hi.
I am looking at getting a new laptop because of the portability.
I was wondering if anybody out there would recommend me a laptop that fits those specs.
I have had my eye on the Gigabyte Aorus x7 for a little while and was wondering if that is something to purchase and if so when does it come out??
My budget is 2,500$.

The Aorus X7 is already available this month at Newegg.com and should be priced at around $1500.

Honestly you're better off spending $1500 on a desktop and putting the rest on a laptop. The problem with super expensive laptops is that they depreciate really quickly and then when you go to sell it you won't make back 1/2 of what you spent on it.
