Laptop for School

What is better:
Dell Precision M3800 Mobile Workstation

or the Lenovo W541

I am planning to use it for University, Engineering program, so I am expecting CAD work.

If possible I would like to play games on it, although I can live without that.

Any other laptop recommendations are welcomed.

Budget: Less is better, no more than $2000

I need good performance, and a good battery life,

I know that the W541, I can change the battery to 9 cell, and buy an additional battery.

The lenovo is the better option as it has more cpu option than the dell and has a better gpu.
