I've been looking for a laptop to Stream and Record with using the Elgato hd60. I'm fine with either 1080p 60 or 30 fps, or 720p 60fps streaming. All my editing and games will be done on my desktop. my Budget is around $1000. I cant seem to find a sufficient answer anywhere so I'm asking instead.

Solution
Any modern system with a mid-range CPU can handle this with enough RAM and a decent drive. AMD A10 CPU with 8 GB and solid state, Intel i3 with 8 gb RAM and a solid state drive, i5, etc... For brands, ASUS, Lenovo and Dell would be the first picks for me.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/toshiba-satellite-radius-2-in-1-15-6-4k-ultra-hd-touch-screen-laptop-intel-core-i7-12gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-carbon-gray/4516900.p?id=1219756372262
so would this one be an okay fit? Thanks for the answer.

That model does not have an SSD drive and has a slower 5400 rpm drive. I would pass on that.

I'm guessing you need a decent size drive for recording, if you want to get from BestBuy http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?cp=1&searchType=search&_dyncharset=UTF-8&ks=960&sc=Global&list=y&usc=All%20Categories&type=page&id=pcat17071&iht=n&seeAll=&browsedCategory=pcmcat247400050000&st=categoryid%24pcmcat247400050000&qp=null%5Ecomputerharddrivetypesv_facet%3DHard%20Drive%20Type~Solid%20State%20Drive%5Eharddrivesizerange_facet%3DHard%20Drive%20Size~500GB%20-%20749GB&sp=%2Bcurrentprice%20skuidsaas

Toshiba has one for about 1k and the Asus Zenbooks are good although pricier, but have a better video card and should be more reliable in hardware.

There is a Dell also that is a good system with a 256gb SSD, quad core i5 and a 960m video card for $800 on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015PYYDMQ/ref=s9_simh_gw_g147_i3_r?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=0ANV6HD5RN806YESG9S2&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=5d23eaf6-6278-49c1-b6df-7de0cb9b3a26&pf_rd_i=desktop

Alright, so considering the rest of the hardware that laptop will work well? I should be able to find one with similar hard ware plus an ssd if thats the case. Thanks

Yes, aside from a faster drive the specs are fine. Anything with a newer i5 or i7 CPU and 8 GB + or RAM should be fine for recording and streaming.
We're talking about only doing that though, not gaming on the same system. From the sound of your question you are using another system to actually be playing on an using this only for recording.
