Laptop Freeze and restarts by itself when gaming

Hey everyone,

My computer freezes up within 5 minutes of gaming. The screen will freeze up and the audio will loop for a few seconds, then the screen turn black and it attempts to restart. However sometimes it won't restart, it will just have a black screen but my computer is clearly on.

This happens to almost all my games. The games I play aren't that graphically intense (Age of Empires2, Tf2, L4D... etc). This has also happened once when I was playing a HD video and had a billion things in the background.

I tried reformatting but problem still persist. I've cleaned the vents and the temps only go to about 70's at most. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the audio and graphics drivers.

My laptop is the ASUS G73SW-XA1. Here are the Specs:

2 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB SO-DIMM
120SSD(I installed this myself) + 750 GB HardDrive
Nvidia GTX 460M

70c is looks like high to me, do you use a cooling pad? Try memtest86 and test the memory for faults, seems like a bad memory to me.

It is really hot today, so 70's shouldn't be too bad. I thought it would have to reach 90+ in order for it to shut off. How long should i run memtest for?
