Laptop frozen on lock screen

Umm running Windows 8.1 and my laptop froze on the lock screen, I can’t swipe up to unlock, my mouse trackpad and keyboard don’t work, I can’t boot in safe mode as that does not work, please help me, my clock still works and so does the icon that’s says if the laptop is charging or not.

so you have tried holding down the power button until it switches off? If that doesn't work take the battery out, put back in and reset. Sounds like a pretty standard freeze.

Press f8 on boot (like this tik tik tik tik tik) and choose safe mode. then use system restore.
