I have an Asus ROG GL552JX DM174H laptop with a gtx 950m with 4gb gddr3 memory, after tearing it down, I found the gpu and cpu location.
I wondered if I could upgrade my gpu to gtx 965m or even gtx 970m. I thought of this because the laptop has an exceptional gap between the cpu, ram, and gpu.
I saw the mount for the gpu
this is the back of the gtx 950m and gtx 960m
and this is the back of the gtx 965m and above
to an extend I think I could change it to 960m, but is it possible to install the gtx 965m or 970m in the socket ? like putting a gtx 750 ti in a x16 pcie v2.0 ?
