The GTX 660M is about as fast as the GTX 650 desktop card and the Radeon 6750M is something like the Radeon 6670 desktop card. The 6750M is far inferior. A GTX 660M that has DDR3 memory might perform similarly to the Radeon 6750M GDDR5, but a GTX 660M GDDR5 should have no trouble being about twice as fast as a Radeon 6750M.

The 660M is indeed better than the 6750m... the 660m is indeed about twice as powerful give or take.

The 660m does not have a DDR3 variant according to nvidia.

Even the 650m with DDR3 (same GPU clocked lower with DDR3) only loses about 10% for DDR3 and the 650m with GDDR5 is 10% slower than the 660m.
Even if the 660m had a DDR3 variant, it would still absolutely bury the 6750m.

This isn't exactly a fair comparison. The 6750m is a previous-generation GPU.
The 660m is slightly slower than a 7850m and slightly faster than a 7770m.

The GT 640 has the same GPU, but it with DDR3 memory can't even beat the 6670 that the 6750M would perform similarly to. Also, you have to take into account frequency differences too. Different units of the same model can have greatly varying GPU and memory frequencies. For example, some of the top GTX 650M cards with GDDR5 actually beat the GTX 660M.
