Greetings, everyone.
I recently purchased a Acer Aspire Nitro 5 AN515-51-50PN (here's the URL: https/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834316155) over the holidays and last week I just started getting into when I realized the HDD arrived with errors.
Windows is not recognizing it as a drive letter. Under Disk Management, it's known as Disk 1 and is not initialized. When I try to initialize it, I either get the message "Disk Not Ready" or "Data Error Cyclic Redundancy Check". The option to partition it is not available under Disk Management. I would like to avoid an return, so I wanted to see if anyone here can assist me in figuring this out.
Thanks for the read.
