laptop heating up extremely fast?

I have an Asus 550Z that is has GPU temp 60C all the time. It used to be around 49C-51C. What could I do to alleviate this problem?

probably dust build up inside heatsink fins, may need a clean out

It was actually a process that was making my GPU run at 90% all the time. Messaging+Skype was it I believe. I prob need to clean my laptop anyway, thanks.
