Laptop is off

Hi im having a problem with my ASUS X553MA laptop,
The laptop just went off but the power led is on same as the charger led when i plug it, and the worst part is that the CD rom was working while it was off but now it doesn't anymore, actually there's no sound at all now. My laptop was off since 2017 December but this year on may it just went on when i press the power button but it was on for that day only then when i switch it off again the same problem occurred.
Please help me

Likely a motherboard issue, open it up, if it has a removable CMOS battery remove that, remove the main battery, hold in the power button for about 30 seconds. Plug in wall power only, see if it turns on. If it does, put the CMOS and main battery in and see if it works after taht.
