Laptop keeps getting this same pop up every time

I have an e-machines laptop and when I turn it on it brings this pop up on the screen that says "Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows on this computer, restart the computer."

Is there any way I can get around this so that I can start to use my laptop again

Were you actually doing some kind of installation when this started?

Which Windows version?

Have you tried inserting a repair or installer disk and doing a startup repair yet?

Before this pop up happened there was another saying something about the computer shutting down unexpectedly, But I found away past that pop up, and now this one started.

I have a windows 7. I got the computer used from my godmother for Christmas and didn't get anything but the laptop and charger.

I've restarted my laptop multiple times and it doesn't work like it says it will...

I would start it up with an installer disk in and do a startup repair. If you don't have an installer disk download one from HERE. Make sure to get the same version that you have on the laptop and burn it to a DVD or make a USB installer with THIS tool and instructions.
