Question Laptop keeps spamming "/" nonstop

I have Asus X553M laptop

4 days ago I spilt some water onto the touchpad and it started spamming a bunch of random keys even tho my keyboard ribbon is disconnected inside

Quickly turned it off/unplugged, cleaned up the top, checked inside, but inside wasnt wet still cleaned it up a bit, tried to dry it upsidedown.

Turn it back on and as soon as it turns on left side touchpad mouse1 doesnt work and it keeps spamming "/////" non stop automatically cant even type in my password


Super annoying and dont know how to fix this. is there a way to disable the whole keyboard system completely maybe or how could I fix this.

You should clean the laptop keypad with fine clothe and inside each button. If it keep showing then circuit must have been damaged.

I have both laptop keyboard ribbon and even touchpad ribbon disconnected. everything seems to be dry inside and its still spamming "/" as soon as it turns on
