i have a asus n53sv, and i have found that the 'key hinge' is broken nad i have just bought it 2 weeks ago, i do not know what to do to replace this fault , any help will be appreciated.
If you just bought it, return it for another one. Either that or get in touch with Asus and send it in to get it repaired, as it should be free under the 1 year factory warranty.
Warranty or not its a pain to have to ship out your laptop and be without it, laptop retainer clips are very cheap, usually $3-4 and install is easy, take a look at this site, www.replacementlaptopkeys.com they have asus models in stock, but not yours, but email them as I have done that on models not listed, but they had it in stock, good luck.
As aznntowl2, mentioned that is another way to go- just do it yourself if you do not want to put up with the aggravation of shipping it out and waiting. It is a pretty simple repair, even for those not too familiar with laptops, computers, etc...
