Solved! Laptop keyboard alpha keys

Attempting to login to the computer but only numbers will type in. No alphabet.. On 2 laptops! What is going on??

If the laptop keyboard does not have a separate numeric keypad, and numlock is enabled, you will get numbers instead of some letters. Try turning off numlock and see if that sorts out the problem.
