laptop keyboard issue

hey everyone, let me begin with a thank you for reading this and helping me out.

The laptop keyboard does not work! here are some troubleshoot that i tried before asking you wondering tech supporter.

1. uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. still doesn't work
2. open the laptop, and removed the keyboard and clean some dust out. still does not work
3. removed the ribbon cable and reconnected. still does not work
4. trimmed the ribbon about 1 mm off. still does not work
5. order a new replacement keyboard for the laptop, still did not work.
6. also with the new keyboard installed, i tried uninstalled and reinstalled. still does not work

so what could be the issue? I believe it might be the ZIF connector but im not sure

does the new keyboard come with a new ribbon cable as well?if it does it could be the connector on the mobo itself

yes, it was a new ribbon as well. and you could be right,

Then high likely its the connector on the mobo.did u drop it or have any water spill?
