Solved! Laptop keyboard not working xp

laptop on my asus a3f does not work properly. actually few keys on it do not work. i think it has happened after i installed windows 7 on my xp and vista capable laptop. as most of the drivers did not work so i had to uninstall it and go for xp again. and then later i discovered that few keys on my keyboard do not work. so can anyone please help me out to solve this problem.

Try going to device manager and updating the driver- see if that does the trick.

XP has drivers for the battery, if the battery is wore out this will effect other drivers, keyboard etc.
Try using the laptop without the battery, run the laptop on a/c current, if the laptop works fine then you have found the problem, you can either buy a new battery, or just use it without the battery like I do.
