Hi all, I have quite a strange situation going on. One of the laptops is experiencing quite an interesting problem: the Backspace, "\", and Enter keys sometimes work, sometimes don't. I tried to remove the keys and touch them without the actual key caps, but it wouldn't work either. I should mention that when it is out of the laptop (but still connected), it needs some time for the computer to "find" that it's connected, and after that, it works. Once you put it in the place and lock it, it stops working. It may or may not work, but most of the time it doesn't work, and when it works, it works only for a short period of time.
It's an old Dell laptop, but still, it would be nice to have all keys working.
Is it possible to fix? Is it an easy fix? Is it the copper thingies that connect the keyboard to the motherboard? (This is the example: http/www.laptoprepair101.com/fix-broken-keyboard-connector-on-laptop-motherboard/)
Any hint on where to look for the problem resolution will help.
