Laptop Not Charging

I have an ASUS notebook X200CA Model, its charger is still working these past few days, until some recent days, I noticed that when the wire of the charger is getting touched or moved, it stops charging, and now, it doesn't charge anymore but the light on its charger is still working. Please help me with this. Thank you.

Possibly either the charging port on the laptop has gone bad, or the wires near the end of ac adapter end that plugs into the laptop may have broken inside the insulation.

if have or can borrow a volt meter, probe the cable end that plugs into the laptop to see if you get a voltage reading as appears you might have a broken wire.

Take the laptop apart and replace the charging port its pretty simple and you can probably find a port on ebay for under 10 dollars most asus laptops have a port plugged into the motherboard and don't require soldering
