I have an Acer Aspire 5552 laptop, I was watching a movie on it the other night and it just stopped working, it appeared fine after it cooled down. I thought it might have been a graphics issue or hard drive issue, then tonight it won't turn on, it lights up, nothing shows on screen and it sounds like its just not starting up, I'm really concerned my hard drive is gone is there any way of testing this without any expense as I would rather avoid taking it to Acer or Laptops Direct. I have had it 1 year just over. need more information please feel free to contact me djpixc@hotmail.co.uk
