Solved! Laptop Not Turning On

Hi. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad SL140, and it will not turn on. When I connected the charger to the laptop, the battery indicator would flash green a single time, turn off, then turn solid green. The laptop would not turn on even with the charger plugged in. No other lights, drive noise, fans, nothing turned on. I tried to use the computer plugged in but with no battery. No go. I also tried the "Flea Power" method, didn't work. My charger does work. I was wondering if I have a permanently dead battery or is my laptop done for good?

Your laptop's motherboard is most likely gone. It may not be terribly expensive to replace, but up to you on whether to spend the money on parts and labor, or just buy a replacement laptop.
