if your buying for gaming do not buy this laptop. hd4000 is horrible for gaming. my laptop with i3 hd4000 on windows 8 is horrible. i cant even run windows 8 app games at playable frame rates. cant even play diablo 3 at all (laggy/stutters). i suggest going amd trinity or get one with with discrete nvidia/amd card.

you cant upgrade laptop video cards unless its got discrete card plus its still hard to find one that will fit your laptop. most laptop wont be able to upgrade. if its got hd4000 now, you most likey cant upgrade at all. sorry =(

You won't be able to upgrade the graphics hardware in this laptop. Sadly, yes, this would be a perfectly decent gaming machine if only it had a non-integrated graphics chip.

you cant upgrade the graphics card but check the system requirements I have just an Intel HD graphics card duel CPU pentium and it runs really well witch games like portal 2 left for dead two team fortress two at around 42 fps-56!! buy it. test it if it does not work take it I back and get your money back and save a little more!!! :')

This site has a good chart on what laptops and their mobile GPU can do on games. The game you mentioned is not on the list but you may find one that's similarly demanding and use it as a reference.

I'm not sure what you mean by your comment. Some $600 laptops fall right in the green depending on the game you want to play.

Take SWTOR for example. I was able to get a Dell Inspiron 1505 (which is nowhere near the minimum requirements) to play at the very low settings at it's native resolution so I'm sure a lot of these lapops can do a lot better. I was even able to get in a 4 man group. Now you can say "Who wants to play at that low level detail." Well to some people, that's all they got.

I posted this to help the poster decide for himself if the laptop he is looking at is worth it, not for critics to judge if any of the laptops are good enough for them.
