My laptop powers with no display what so ever.. I've tried plugging to my tv via hdmi and still no display.
When turned on the hdd spins and the hdd light lights up for a second then goes away. the power and cap locks lights stay on. once the processor gets hot enough the fan turns on nearly full blast.
I have an Asus n61j with an i7, 2x 2gb ram sticks and an amd 57xx.
I have tried booting without the hdd and also with one of each ram suck in each slot. As mentioned earlier I also tried different displays.
Any advice is appreciated.
Edit: after about ten minutes of the fan running it powers off.
