a 960m and quad core i7 will play most games 1080p at high or medium. It is a very well reviewed, under appreciated laptop. Without spending $1200-1500 ish for a 970m/1060m, its the best your going to get all around.

Re-looked and see that's its an i5. You should really look for and get the i7 version. Should easily be had for same price ish. and will really really help out in editing, almost 2x, and even very helpful in gaming.

The i7 of that laptop has a 1tb 5400rpm hd

I could look into a 15 inch i7 gtx 1060 with ssd and/or 1tb 7200rpm that has good cooling and not too bulky
