laptop screen flickers and black out

Laptop- Toshiba satellite C850
Os- windows 8

The laptop was working fine but after installing win8 few days later the screen started flickering right from the start logo and get black.
It remains black
I tried connecting it to tv using hdmi but got no signal problem.
But when i remove hdmi my laptop screen flicker then go black again i cant even sre the safe mode menu.

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving that issue.
- Start by trying to load in Safe Mode, while the laptop is booting up repeatedly press on F8 until it load Advanced Boot Options, select Safe Mode and press Enter.
- If it doesn't load Safe Mode the only solution would be to run another clean install of Windows 8.
- If Factory Reset will not solve the problem it's a problem with the GPU already.
