Solved! Laptop screen goes black for a second after plugging in the power

Hi, my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 2 's screen goes black for about a second every time I plug in or out the power cord. All operations are functional, the audio still plays during the screen blackout. Nothing goes down in performance, but I'm a bit concerned about this phenomena. What is causing this and how can I fix it?

ps. the laptop is running a i7-9750H and the CPU is undervolted -0.125

update the BIOS

update all drivers from the Lenovo homepage, like power management driver
