Laptop Screen Issue

Hello. I have am having an issue with the screen of my newer laptop. When I first turn it on after not using it for awhile there is a bright glow around the entire perimeter of the screen. It's an Omen by HP with a 144hz G-Sync IPS panel. After about 20-30 minutes it will fade and look great minus a tad bit of bleed. I already have a warranty claim with HP in the works but I was just curious if anyone has seen or knows why its does this?

In this day and age, pretty much all displays do what you're experiencing. Int he past it was non existent. The issue actually stems form the panel makers and they are often sourced from one area.

You may want to have this documented as evidence when you initiate a warranty claim with HP.

Thanks for the reply. I sent them the same images I posted here. They said they would replace the panel but who knows if the next one won't do the same. At least it's documented with them in the case number and the laptop will be in their hands if it does.
