I have a Lenovo Y50. I'm trying to unscrew the base so i can gain access to the fan and dust it out.

However, one of the screws won't come loose. I can fit my screwdriver in it, I can turn it right or left infinitely, but it won't screw outwards or inwards, it just spins in place. Any idea how I can get it out?

I tried turning the laptop over and shaking the screw out but it still stays in. It's the one above the bottom right corner.

So, you'll need two teeny screwdrivers.
The phillips one you're using and it spins.
And the smallest jewelers flatblade you can find.

Weasel/wedge the flat blade under the edge of the screwhead, trying to raise it a little bit, and then try to turn it with the phillips.

Hi

Often for each screw there is a brass nut moulded into plastic case , if case has been dropped or screw over tightened then nut comes free of case and does not undo

If all other screws removed see if base can be removed
