Laptop shuts down after 3 seconds

Help! When I turn my laptop on, it shuts down after 3 seconds. I tried removing my battery and holding down the power button for 10+ seconds then starting my laptop again, but it didn't work..

My laptop is a Lenovo S400 Touch.

Hi, on those 3 secs can you hear the fan of the laptop? if it works then its not a fan failure but the cooler may got seperate from the cpu after a bumb or drop causing overheating straight away.
i would recommend you to disassemble your laptop and clean the old thermal paste of the CPU and add new one. Do that only if the fan spins on startp otherwise you will need to change the cooler fan
