The Problem

The laptops's original battery was facing several problems a while ago, turning off while full on charge and other dead battery symptoms. I replaced the battery with a brand new one and started to experience a new issue: If running on battery and booted, the laptop shuts down automatically. However if I first launch the laptop while plugged in, pass the boot screen and then unplug, it works fine without shutting down UNTIL I launch a game or any application that requires processing power.
I replaced the battery for the second time but the issues didn't seem to go.
I installed linux as a second operating system but gave me the same issue.

In conclusion:
Laptop shuts down while booting and if plugged first and unplug after booting, works fine but shuts down on heavy load.

Were the batteries you replaced it with aftermarket ones? If so, this may be your problem as they can be a bit hit or miss with working correctly. I would also consider checking their specs against the original batteries specs.

I would still think the battery is the problem due to your saying it won't start up with the battery alone. Meaning the battery is not putting out the right amount of power to do so.

I wasn't actually the one to replace the batteries. The technical serves center done it for me, twice, and now I'm out of maintenance guarantee. It's a little odd that both batteries they stock in my laptop faced the same problem of not putting sufficient power.
