Question Laptop shuts down when booting.

Hi all,
My Dell Inspiron 3721 shuts down when booting into any OS. I've tried using internal and externals. Currently trying Archbang Linux. No dice still shuts down upon loading OS. I've even gone so far as to do a diagnostic before boot. It passes all test. As of this post it stays at 53C. I've just bought a new Adapter for and even a new battery. It shutdown on just the battery as well. Any ideas. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your motherboard may be in need of replacing to me.

Ok update... I've had some progress. I was able to boot into my internal hd. However when I try to boot from an external HDD it shuts down.
