Laptop shutting off in exactly 30 mins

Hi I just done factory reset on Toshiba Satellite I5 cpu 4gb ram and now shuts off every 30 mins exactly and have done advanced power options and not that plz help guys/gals as deseperate as good laptop on windows 10 pro

So in order for you to get it back on, you have to press the power button, yes? Does it bring you to a login screen or does it resume from where you were before?

I have to press power button to start up and login

Well, I will help all I can. This is just a very strange problem. So you went through all the advanced power settings? There are two screens of them.

Also, does this happen with your AC adapter plugged in and/or not? Does your battery charge correctly?

everything works perfect apart from this shutt off after 30 mins all all power options balanced maximum etc

If you have done a factory reset already, that means the Windows install is brand new. So I wouldn't think the issue would be something directly in Windows.

I think we should start thinking hardware related. Does your laptop have one RAM module or two?

it has 2 x 2 GB Ram on system

tried with only 1 of the ram in and still power failed around the 25-30 mins mark

If it still failed then the RAM is not the issue. In that case, it might be the processor. I hate to say it Beck, but I think you should take it to someone who can test its hardware with other parts.
