Laptop temperature issue

Hello. My laptop configuration is i5 3210m (ivy bridge) processor with Intel HD graphics. Idle temperature remains around 40-45°c and While browsing in firefox or chrome the temperature hover around 65°c. Is it normal or higher? Or should I consider a new thermal paste ? Thanks.

Why do you think the temperature is an issue? Are programs or the system crashing? Run a stress test like Prime95, see how high the temp gets. If it gets to about 90C it's a bit high.

the programe and the system is working fine. but the temperature rises to about 95-100C after running prime95 stress test.

That is too high. Clean up the heatsink/fan and apply new thermal paste. On business systems I worked on, they tend to start crashing or shutting down with overheating errors in the high 90s. Cleaning them up would drop it down by 10-15 degrees at max load.
