Laptop weirdly performs worse on gaming

My [strike]PC[/strike] laptop has presented a really crappy performance lately.
I used to play lots of games like GTA V, Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield 4, in low graphics but achieving high fps (60/80); I also played Roblox (yes, the cancer game) and Minecraft in the highest graphics with almost no fps drops, achieving ~70/80 fps. With Overwatch is the same thing, I get 60/lower fps now and used to achieve 70/100 fps. I've tried cleaning it, changing the thermal paste, factory resetting it, I even bought it a cooling stand.
I have all graphics drivers updated and the PC fans work.

Specs:
Samsung RC530
Intel Core I7-2670QM
Nvidia GT 540M 2GB
Intel HD Graphics 3000
6 GB RAM

I know it's not the best machine for gaming but it used to work properly, and it's the only one I can afford for now.

I really need help, so all suggestions are welcome.

have you done some benchmarking and comparing the result to other similarly/nearly similar spec laptops? do you install or put something to your laptops when the problem getting started?

yes, i did, and it gave much better results, and no, it randomly started when i was to play warframe one day

is all the cooling fine? no broken parts on the motherboard? have you tried checking malware too?

Run GPU-z, check its using the right gpu when you load games, also check the temps.

Laptops don't survive long when you put that kind of workload on them. Your graphics card isn't that great anyways. You say you played games on low settings and got a high FR, is it only on Overwatch that you get a low FR? If yes, Overwatch is very gpu demanding. It's meant to run as smooth as possible at all times, you might notice even on low settings, every map and character still looks decent. And How old is your laptop?

It is, i always use the nvidia
temps are always around 75º, as much as i try to cool it down

no, overwatch is one of the games i get higher fps on, another example of a game where i get low frame rate on is CSGO. my laptop might be 4 years old, i cant remember

Set it ontop of a portable cooling fan solution, or have air blow straight at it. It is probably thermal throttling due to high temperatures.
