Hi all
I want to get a new laptop on Black Friday and I have specific specs in mind! The thing is my budget is only around 1000 dollars and the laptops that I find with these specs cost a lot more! So what is the "closest thing" to what I want, that is around 1k grant? I'll be using it pretty much for everthing(college, games, films, editing etc.) so what should I sacrifice ?
15"

< 5 pounds

*EDIT: These are the closest things that I've found, how are they?

Solution
In my opinion, the HP is insanely overpriced. You can probably get an MSI or ASUS with a 1060 GPU and 4k screen for that price. The Pavilion line is HP's cheaper line, supposedly (I own one, but nothing as "fancy" as the one you're considering), and I find the build quality to not be the best. But mine is a year old, and maybe the newer and more expensive ones are better. But I still think overpriced.

Personally, I'd sacrifice the 4k display. Not sure how much value 4k is on a display that small anyway. If you don't want to give up the 4k, I'd take the Dell over the HP.

But if you're a serious gamer, I'd find something with a 1080p display and a GTX 1060 GPU.
