I am pressing the start button, the fan sound comes for few seconds and then it goes off
The white indicator also gives a blink and nothing happens.

Now I can still open/close my DVD disk but the system wont open

Solution
Something is not passing/not being initialized during POST. Try an NVRAM reset: Remove battery (if it's removable), charger, press & hold power button for 5 seconds, then connect power and try booting it again.

This could be memory, I'd start with replacing that if the reset doesn't work. Worst case scenario is it's a component that is not modular, which could mean you have a bad motherboard that needs replaced or repaired.
