laptop worth the price

Hello all,
I am being offer a laptop that is of 2.2gh with 4gig of memory and 500 gig of hard drive it is 15-1/2 inch monitor with windows 8, it is refurbish and comes with 90 days manufactures warranty, it costs 149.99 plus tax, it is either Asser or gateway laptop my question is the laptop is worth the price?

how many cores is the cpu? amd or intel" if its a dual core or higher, it seems like a good price for a basic laptop for web surfing, email, downloading etc

Depends on what you want to do with the laptop? How long are you expecting to last? Are you actually looking for a laptop? Or it was just an offer when you don't actually need it?
