Hello, just wanted to know, is it bad leaving laptop charging for hours?, I'm using Alienware 15 with 240w PSU adapter, im hesitate to keep switching off when not using but turn it (Charger) on back when I started using it back...whats your opinion? Will overcharge happen?

Solution
1) There's no such thing as overcharge.... I don't know where that myth is from, but seriously? After everything is charged, no more electrons can be charged.
2) The battery won't last as long because some electricity would have to be used in order to check the percentage of charge.

So what is the best way in charging my laptop? Plug in only when I start to use it? Plug off when not?

If you can remove the battery until you need it, that'll do. And also, battery lives are much longer than you think. For example, MacBook Pro 2008 batteries are barely losing charge after about 5-6 years, and only slash 1 hour every 2 or so years.
