Lenevo thinkpad won’t start up

I have a lenevo thinkpad x260. It won’t start up. It won’t go past the starting windows page. When starting in safe mode it’s starts loading and stops at classpnp. I have tried everything. I have bought windows 7 on a usb as advised in another forum but it is doing the same thing. Any help would be appreciated thank you in advance

Is the trying everything include replacing the drive?

Sorry I prob shouldn’t have said tried everything! I mean everything I can but know a lot of people are a lot more knowledgeable about these things than me! How would I do this. I have tried repair, starting from last good configuration, safe mode, tried starting from usb with window 7 and changing boot to usb, I have tried all I know through messing about but I am not the best with these things thank you

Windows is built in, there is no cd drive so that’s why I got window 7 in usb x
