The old C2D CPUs are 2 generations out of date now.
You should be looking for a Lenovo with a Core i3/i5/i7 CPU.

Agree with WR2, Duo processors are quickly becoming out-dated. At minimum you should be looking into the 2nd Gen Intels, usually the i3 for laptops however some come with i5/i7 but these carry a higher premium.

I can't seem to figure out how you get a model with Core i5 2410M CPU, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, DVD burner, 14" 1366x768 LCD w/ GT 550M graphics for only $679. When I configure it it comes out to $764.

It looks like the best price of $679 has expired.

It's also possible that LogicBuy wrote the headline wrong.

I've seen it happen both ways.
