Lenovo G50 laptop display won't stay on

the screen on my lenovo G50 laptop i use for school doesn't stay on when i turn it on. When i turn it on everything turns on but the display, the light in the display turns on for about 2 seconds and then shuts off and 5 seconds later it does the same thing and keeps repeating it.

ugh... I have some terible experience with Lenovo xD I think you should just visit a pc store or something nearby and let them check it.

It is possible. I'd still recommend going to a pc store to let them check it.

Check the power cable to the adapter.
Make sure it is connected properly.
Sometimes a loose cable can cause this problem.
