Question Lenovo g50 not loading

Saw the other replies and have tried all the recommend actions but laptop won't boot.have done the fn2 and it recognises the hard drive but I cannot get past the logo screen.is my hard drive knackered? Thanks.

By the way I had not updated anything before this happened

That is a very little detail to determine if the drive is shot or not.

Question, what was the last thing done on the computer before this occurred?

As far as I am aware,nothing.my daughter mostly plays games on it
