Lenovo G50 Vs HP Envy

Hi guys! I'm not sure which laptop to get:

I like the look of HP more but am worried about overheating being a problem. I eventually came down to these two choices after looking for a laptop I can use for school and light video/photo editing (plus including a CD/DVD drive).

I much prefer the Lenovo over HP products. I have a Lenovo laptop that is just over two years old, and it has worked well with no issues.
