Lenovo G50 wont turn on

My Lenovo G50 won't power on. Tried all the suggestions above.

Result:
1. Battery light turns on RED when only battery is installed
2. Battery light turns on RED when only AC adapter is connected
3. Battery light turns on RED when battery is installed and AC adapter is connected

Any ideas?

Sounds like you need a new battery and it also sounds like that particular device will not work without a battery.
