Lenovo G510 BIOS corrupted

I updated the BIOS on my G510 and after a restart it no longer recognizes the hdd. Accessing the BIOS is doable but it will crash sometimes. Now startup just tells me that IPv4 and IPv6 have failed to boot. I can boot to USB but it will only recognize Ubuntu and not Windows for some reason. Steps I have tried to reset the BIOS:

Open it up and unplug the CMOS battery. Pressing on the OneKey button to drain the charge and then even letting it sit for a few days.

Opened up the BIOS and messed with it. Even clicking Restore Factory Keys hoping that would do something useful.

Note: BIOS Back Flash(able to store more than one BIOS) was disabled by default from Lenovo.

Is there a way to flash the BIOS from USB.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Edit: I have run Lenovo's diagnostic suite through USB and it says everything is fine.

If it recognizes Ubuntu, then that may be "good". Most bootable BIOS update programs run on a Linux platform, so you could see if there's something like that for your lapotop. Most likely though, your best bet would be to sent it in and see if they can re-solder a clean BIOS chip on there.

Interesting idea. I will have to check out the Linux idea. I figure it will cost me more than $100 to get a new BIOS chip soldered.
