Lenovo laptop display issues.

When opening the lid of my laptop, unless I open it to a very specific angle, the display just shows a black screen. All other components of the laptop seem to work fine, and the backlight still comes on whenever I open the lid. The problem has started only recently, and the laptop in question is a Lenovo IdeaPad z710.

How old is it? Lenovo's warranty service is top-notch; they'll send you an overnight box, and then overnight it back to you.
In this case, it sounds like a connector may be loose, but it could be solder traces, or something not easy to fix yourself.
