Lenovo laptop g580 won't turn on or charge

My Lenovo laptop Worked then the text day it would not turn on and won't charge. The light on the laptop show the charge and I have tried to take my battery out and hold the power button for 20 seconds and put the battery back in and nothing happened can someone help me

Have you tried running it with the power cord only and the battery out? Some laptops will work that way, some won't. If it doesn't work, then you may well have to replace the battery.
