LENOVO Laptop won't turn on or charge

I was using the laptop perfectly fine yesterday, but when I went to turn it on today nothing happened. Usually there's a light on the front that turns on when I have the power cord plugged into the laptop, but that light won't come on either no matter what outlet I put the plug into. No lights come on at all and no sound at all either every time I try to turn it on. Not sure where to even begin fixing this.

Take your battery out and then hold the power button for 20 seconds.
Then pop the battery back on and throw it on the charger and try to turn it on.

if you registered your Lenovo with them, then you might want to go to their downloads section and see if the Lenovo Solutions Center ver. 3.1.001 program is listed. After I registered my thinkpad with them, I found the next day, that the program had been downloaded to the laptop desktop.It scans and runs tests on your computer components and lets you know if there's a problem with them. If not, type the name in your search engine and see if there's a web site you can download it from.

how do you take off the battery? i have the lenovo flex 3 and i dont know which one the battery is. but my laptop shows that the light on the side is on it just wont turn on.
