Lenovo Tab 3 8 wifi turns off and on by itself

Tab3 8 started this during setup. I went to settings/ wlan and watched the slide switch moving by itself. This is the second machine to do this.

I would contact the manufacturer then about this. It may be a known issue and they may have a fix.

Thanks but I went to Lenovo support chat, and this is a new one for them too. Just my luck that I got 2 bad ones. If I had a goldfish it would drown.

Hi Terry70, did you find a solution to this? I have just unboxed my Lenovo Tab3 8 a coupole of hours ago, and I am facing the exact same issue with my home connection, even when using a network expander and changing the network name. Very frustrating!

I changed the type of authentication to my Wi-Fi network from WPE to WPA-PSK. Now the wifi connection on Lenovo Tab 3 8 seems to be stable.
